Holidays

Holidays can be setup here, some can reoccur year after year, like Christmas, but holidays like Easter must be set every year, as we do not have a connection to the Jewish Calendar which is connected to lunar cycles.

To add a new holiday use “Add New Record”

Name – The Name of the holiday
Weekday Iteration – The iteration to be used based on the start or and of the month and possibly the weekday, e.g. 1st day of the month, 3rd Monday of the month, 2nd last Tuesday of the month
Weekday – The weekday to use for the iteration
Month (required) – The month the holiday occurs in
Specific Day – The specific day that the holiday occurs on
Weekday Iteration Desc – Whether the iteration starts at the first or last of the month
Year – The year that the holiday occurs in, if needed.
Blackout – Whether or not your storefront is open
Example – Will be the day that the holiday occurs on in the given year (current if not specified), if not filled in something is wrong with the setup.

Blackout Periods

A displayed event for the calendars to indicate a blackout period e.g. ‘Schedule’ where the Employee must be available to work.

Type – Availability Event Type
Start Date – The start of the period
End Date – The end of the period
