Fields
Header
Customer Number – Generated unique identifier based on Entity Type (2 characters), Name (2), Address (3) and City (2) followed by 3 digits. E.G. CUNAADDCIXXX
Customer Name – Identifiable name of entity
Active – This is used to deactivate / “Delete” an entity that is no longer used
Type – Type of entity based on Customer Type List
Company (Business, Non-Profit) – The name of the customer when type is business like
Salutation – see Data > Shared > Fields
Main Contact Name – First Name and Last Name will generate Customer Name when type is not business like
Phone Number – The primary phone number
Cell Number – The primary cell phone number
Email – The primary email for the entity, may be used to connect to an ecommerce account

Preferences – small multi-line field for customers likes and dislikes
End Date – see Data > Shared > Fields
Marital Status (Residential) – see Data > Shared > Fields
Age Range (Residential) – see Data > Shared > Fields

Finance
Currency – The currency that the customer deals in
Tax Registrant – Whether or not the customer is registered with the local state for tax purposes
Credit Limit – The limit of credit the customer can use before being restricted
Tax Exempt – Whether the customer is wholly exempt from taxes
Payment Terms – The terms which apply to credited sales

This grid allows a customer to have different tax exemptions broken down to each state
